Golgi is a future concept developed at Domus Academy with the collaboration of Veneta Cucine. Its a concept that runs on witricity/ wireless electricity. Therefore it is an infinitive kitchen concept. It investigates how the combination of elements such as water and fire with electricity and connectivity can co exist and make their way through a system that can reveille the kitchen, its objects and volumes. With Golgi the user has the ability to move and adjust the elements on the surface of the wall according to his needs, and create a unique environment at any given moment.
Golgi consists out of two main parts. A tiled wall and a monolith ( kitchen island ).

As a design is kept simple to emphasize in the dynamic of performance and to give freedom to the user. All of the appliances are very
simplified as volumes but efficient regarding the capacity
The monolith is a relatively smaller island than most kitchen islands. Is built-up with a big cooking area of gas stoves, steam exactor, a
big water sink with modular parts, and a food-preparing surface. Modular parts on the sink help the user when washing in the kitchen or
when cooking. With the monolith the kitchen behavior and ergonomics start to change. The wall collaborates with the monolith.
